For Concept International, the Digital Signage Summit Europe (DSSE) is a home game. At the summit of the international digital signage industry, taking place May 20–21 at the Hilton Airport Munich, we will showcase highlights from our own brands, FutureNUC and FutureLED, new products in the Giada Intel high-end player range, and—as a solution to one of the industry’s most pressing challenges—the latest generation of powerful Giada ARM Android players.

“The ARM Android players are not as severely affected by the global supply crisis, so we can use them to circumvent the current shortages of DDR4/DDR5 memory and Intel Celeron processors: They are more price-stable because they require less memory, provide greater planning security, and are therefore ideal for digital signage projects,” says Mike Finckh, Managing Director of Concept International.

Energy-efficient Android PCs also deliver strong edge AI performance

Among its highlights, Concept is showcasing the high-performance DN84 Android PC, which features an onboard NPU for local AI data processing to efficiently handle visitor counting, voice control, and other data analyses. Concept is also bringing the cost-effective Giada DN83, which plays 4K content in an energy-efficient manner, and the compact DN25 for advertising on up to two screens—based on the industrial version of the Raspberry Pi 5—to the DSSE. All devices also run on Linux. A high-end highlight from the Giada portfolio is the new Giada AF708: a powerful, rugged, and energy-efficient industrial Android PC with strong edge AI performance for harsh, connected, and automated environments, video analytics, logistics, smart city applications, and outdoor infrastructure.

Giada Players for the Coming “End of the ‘Atom’ Class”

With the Giada DK320 as a compact, budget-friendly version of the Intel players and its Core 5-320—which is not yet available—Concept International offers a glimpse into the near future. Mike Finckh speculates that “the old ‘Atom’ class is coming to an end, because this processor introduces a slimmed-down version of the Core Ultra class—but without an NPU and significantly more energy-efficient—that is ideally suited for installation in information terminals, kiosks, or display stands in shopping centers.”

FutureNUC and FutureLED: House Brands as Budget Champions and Eye-Catchers

The Flexbox from Concept’s house brand FutureNUC is establishing itself as a budget champion: this Chrome OS mini PC has positioned itself as an entry-level solution for digital signage and is also ideal as a Google Workspace workstation for offices and schools. Just as at ISE in Barcelona, Concept International also has its ultimate eye-catcher on display at its home turf at DSSE: the Butterfly series from its own brand, FutureLED: the double-sided COB LED walls with two full-fledged, brilliant LED surfaces—now also available with a housing just 28 millimeters deep—are ideal for shining brightly outward in storefronts and communicating inward in high resolution, making them perfect for shopping centers.
