The Butterfly series from FutureLED is the perfect solution for eye-catching installations in retail outlets, showrooms, or as an elegant ceiling suspension. Its special feature: two full-size LED panels in an ultra-flat housing with a depth of only 60 mm—ideal for shop windows, freestanding steles, and indoor areas. Optionally, customized LED walls – including special designs – can also be created to flexibly meet individual requirements. A genuine LED wall with both internal and external impact that sets new standards.
With Butterfly, you can present double-sided content at the highest level. Different image content and individual brightness levels per side make the system extremely flexible: for example, brightly lit on the outside for maximum visibility and pleasantly adjusted on the inside for a harmonious atmosphere. This enables a visual customer approach with a double-walled LED solution that has an optimal effect both outside and inside.
The LED modules measure 500 x 500 mm, are extremely slim and lightweight – only 7.25 kg per cabinet. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, the series impresses with a pixel pitch from 1.5 mm, brightness up to 3,500 nits, and high-contrast image quality (6,000:1). This makes Butterfly suitable for almost any application – from retail to corporate.
For maximum robustness, FutureLED offers optional GOB or COB coatings: dust, moisture, and shock resistant, easy to clean, and ideal for high-traffic areas. Those looking for a more affordable solution can opt for the SMD version.
The FutureLED Butterfly series combines minimal space requirements, low weight, and brilliant display quality – for installations that impress without being obtrusive.
The underlying technology:
COB stands for chip-on-board. With COB LEDs, several LED chips are mounted on a circuit board. This method has the advantage of generating greater luminous flux and thus brighter light than usual. In addition, there are no longer any visible transitions in the light; it shines equally brightly at every point.
GOB stands for “Glue On Board,” a resin used to fill the gaps and create a flat surface in which the LED pixels are completely embedded. This protective layer effectively protects the image surface from mechanical damage, making it shockproof and dust-resistant.
