GIADA’s DM8 is equipped with a powerful AMD Ryzen 5 3500U mobile processor and impresses with its AMD Radeon Vega 8 graphics. An outstanding feature of this player is that it has four HDMI outputs that support four FullHD (1920×1080) displays at flicker-free 60Hz for video walls. Three times 4K (3840×2160) at flicker-free 60Hz are possible for menu boards with little moving image, and up to four 4K displays can be used for static displays. Dual-channel DDR4 memory is on board, and the hard drive can also be flexibly expanded via MSATA and 2.5″ SATA slots – this is just one of the attractive expansion options.
Like its predecessors, the new DM8 comes in a robust metal case and is specially designed for 24/7 operation. Its high performance predestines this extremely affordable booksize player for graphically demanding digital advertising in the fashion industry, as well as in restaurants, retail outlets, government agencies and other institutions. A VESA-compatible mount for wall or monitor installation as well as customer-oriented solutions – for example the “Total Preparation Service” or installation according to customer requirements – are optionally available.
