The FutureIPC ID series (“D” for DIN rail) presents itself with the option of simply latching onto DIN rails in accordance with the DIN standard. This makes it ideal for applications that require high performance in distribution boards or control cabinets. Despite its remarkably compact size of just 185 x 116 x 50 mm, smaller than the booksize standard, the industrial PC offers easy patching and cabling options as well as a simple DIN rail snap lock for replacement.
The series is characterized by front and side interfaces, which facilitates connection even in angled or cramped cabinets. Powered by an Intel 12th generation Core-i CPU, the ID1200 offers the performance required for a wide range of tasks, from simple circuit applications to sophisticated industrial control. The pin-compatible 13th generation CPUs are already in preparation.
Alternatively, the PC is also available as a more cost-effective and fanless variant, which is equipped with an Intel Celeron J6412 or an Intel Atom X6425E CPU.
As with the IA series, an extended voltage and temperature range is also available here. Three LAN connections, four USB ports, two COM ports and two HDMI interfaces ensure the necessary connectivity for a wide range of applications.
A further advantage of the FutureIPC ID series is the deliberate limitation of the maximum power consumption to 30 watts (45 watts for Core-i CPUs), which enables operation even in tightly packed control cabinets without any problems.
