Concept International launches seven different Android panel PC variants with the K Series from its own FutureSIGN brand
Munich, October 11, 2024 – Interactive “DIY store TV” in high picture quality, interactive product information on the shelves, digital menus in restaurants or even current displays on the bus: With the K Series of its own brand FutureSIGN, Concept International has launched panel PCs that optimally meet the wide range of modern digital signage requirements in the indoor area and are particularly predestined for representative use in sales rooms with their appealing appearance.
Because the requirements are as varied as the areas of application, the Munich-based value-added distributor has a total of seven different display sizes in two format series in its K series range: “16:9” (10.1, 13.3, 15.6, 18.5 and 21.5 inches) and “ultrawide” (19 and 37 inches). The FutureSIGN K-Panels owe their attractive appearance to a high-quality housing with a VESA mount that can easily conceal the power and LAN cable. An Android app with the basic signage functions, which enables the automatic playback of video loops and the opening of a website in the browser, is already on board. This means that the PPCs (Panel PCs) are actually ready to go out of the box as a fully-fledged digital signage device for individual applications. For larger projects, such as chain stores, in which the DS use of many screens at different locations is centrally controlled and maintained, Concept International has various software partners at its side who offer the right content management system for the respective requirements.
Interaction with the customer
The “16:9” versions (10.1 to 21.5 inches) also enable interaction with customers: They are equipped with a capacitive LED multi-touch display with a luminosity of up to 400 cd/m². The 10.1 to 18.5-inch versions are built into a high-quality plastic housing, while the three larger versions (19, 21.5 and 37 inches) have a sturdy metal housing.
Inner workings and connections
Inside the PPCs is a quad-core RK3568 processor (2.0 GHz) from Rockchip, which is supported by either 2 or 4 GB RAM and 16 or 32 GB ROM. Both format series run Android 11 and offer a wide range of connectivity options, including RJ45 LAN, HDMI, USB and SD card. WLAN b/g/n and Bluetooth as well as optional 4G and Power over Ethernet (PoE) for the smaller display sizes (10.1 to 15.6 inches) ensure reliable connectivity – so extra power cables and power supply units are not required. Speakers are integrated into the panels. A front camera and sensors that detect movement and, for example, start a video when customers approach are optionally available.
List prices and Concept service
The FutureSIGN K Series panel PCs are now available from Concept International. The list prices of the five “16:9” versions (recommended retail price): 370 euros (10.1 inch), 410 euros (13.3 inch), 465 euros (15.6 inch), 440 euros (18.5 inch) and 580 euros (21.5 inch). The two “ultrawide” versions are listed for 630 euros (18 inch) and 1,230 euros (37 inch) as recommended retail prices. Concept International offers special conditions and services for sales partners, including roll-out support as part of the Total Preparation Service.
