Concept International is coming to DMEA 2025 in Berlin with a series of highlights: With AI on board, diagnoses can be made right at the bedside

Munich, March 13, 2025 – At the DMEA 2025 digital health trade show in Berlin from April 8 to 10 (Hall 1.2, Booth C-109), Concept International will be presenting innovative and robust hardware that provides doctors, nursing teams and emergency services with the best possible support for their work with patients. In addition to the renewed, extremely light slim-rugged tablet FPQ10 from its own brand FuturePAD, the Munich-based value-added distributor is showcasing a wide range of mobile medical all-in-one desktop PCs from DT Research at the trade fair. These include the DT58x series with Meteor CPU, which for the first time allows AI algorithms to be executed locally at the doctor’s trolley:

This opens up previously unimagined data protection-compliant possibilities for on-site medical diagnosis. As a highlight, Concept International will be showing the DT514 thin all-in-one for price-conscious, fully certified use in the nursing station and at the point of care: a brand-new all-in-one computer that will go into series production this summer and, with a view to tight hospital budgets, is perfectly suited as a low-entry/low-cost offering for the German market – and will also be IGEL-OS certified.

The DT514 is the ideal entry-level device to help nursing and clinical staff in their daily work at the bedside and in the doctors’ room, and scores points with two different operating systems: the DT514-W runs on Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, while the DT514-IG variant is for the IGEL OS thin client, which is common in numerous hospitals.

Both AIO desktop computers are available with a Twin Lake N Core CPU (Intel i3-N355) or an Alder Lake N CPU (N97), have 8GB DDR5 RAM and other new standards such as WiFi 7 on board. The slim case is fanless and has a 24-inch LCD display. This makes the AIO PC ideal for everyday applications in the medical and healthcare sector, and the VESA standard mounting design makes it easy to install in any treatment room. A range of optional features are available, including a chip card/CAC reader, 5 MP front camera and NFC/RFID reader for efficient monitoring, recording and management of patient data.

All-in-ones with Meteor Lake and hot-swappable batteries

As further highlights, Concept International will be showcasing the all-in-one PCs of the DT58x series for ward trolleys at the exhibition stand: they are the only AIOs in their class with a 14th-generation Intel CPU (Meteor Lake) on board. This CPU is the first to enable the algorithms of artificial intelligence to be executed locally by using an NPU (Neural Procession Unit). Particularly in the field of medical diagnostics, this opens up undreamt-of possibilities under the applicable data protection regulations. They have three slide-in batteries with a runtime of up to 16 hours per device, which can be changed during operation (hot swappable).

The housing is even thinner and lighter than its predecessors, the DT 59x Cart PCs. A reading light for night duty is now also integrated into the lower edge of the frame – which also makes handling on the ward trolley considerably easier. Optionally, there are integrated power outputs with 12, 15 and 19 volts, for example to supply label printers or barcode readers, as well as a front camera, NFC/RFID reader and smart card/CAC reader. The smaller DT582 has a 22-inch display, the DT584 a 24-inch display. Both meet the EN60601-1 and EN60601-1-2 medical device standards, are resistant to cleaning agents and have an antimicrobial coating.

Protected against electrostatic discharge

DT Research has developed the elegant, space-saving and robust all-in-one computers of the DT50x series specifically for use in stationary clinical environments. They are now also increasingly used in medical centers and doctors’ offices for monitoring, recording and retrieving patient information and for other point-of-care situations and are equipped with 14th generation Intel i5/i7 processors. They meet the IEC60601-1 and IEC60601-1-2 standards for medical devices and are IP65-certified, so they have a protected front, an IPX1 housing with an antimicrobial coating, and a protected 22- or 24-inch LCD display.

The all-in-one PCs are completely maintenance-free and feature WiFi 6.0 (3-band) and BT 5.3. The connections (USB, COM, Ethernet and HDMI) are protected against electrostatic discharge between the PC and the user. As an option, Concept International offers an integrated UPS battery to bridge a power failure and to supply the system with power for a short time in the event of a power interruption.

Full HD monitors with power supply for the ward trolley

With the DT722 and 724 from DT Research, Concept is bringing two 22- and 24-inch full HD touch monitors designed specifically for the medical sector, with an antimicrobial and wipe-clean chassis. The devices, certified according to IEC 60601-1 and 60601-1-2, are powered by three powerful batteries that can be changed during operation and can also be used to supply power to third-party devices such as thin clients, label printers or barcode scanners. This makes the monitors the perfect companion, even on older ward trolleys, which can be modernized cost-effectively.

Complete medical tablet series and battery holster

In Berlin, Concept International is also showing the complete series of medical tablets from DT Research, including the mobile rugged tablets and the new DT323, an all-rounder that scores with an extra-bright display of 1000 cd/m² for excellent readability. The DT Battery Holster, a compact mobile battery management system, can also be used to supply power to ward and care trolleys easily and cost-effectively.

Also at DMEA 2025: slim rugged device for mobile use in ambulances

At DMEA 2025, Concept International will be showcasing its 650-gram, 10.8-millimetre-thin, redesigned medical slim-rugged tablet FPQ10 with a fully integrated laser scanner and a permanently installed battery with an output of 5000 mA for a runtime of up to 12 hours from the portfolio of its own brand FuturePAD. The tablet is EN60601-1 compliant, with an antimicrobial coating on the housing and glass.

It is available with either Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC or Android 10, whereby the Android system, with a runtime of up to 24 hours in full operation, is far ahead of comparable systems – another important factor, especially for outdoor use in ambulances.

The medical PC experts from Concept International will be at DMEA 2025 in Berlin from April 8 to 10 with their own booth in hall 1.2, booth C-109.
