With the Sunmi V3 and V3H, VAD Concept International now has particularly stylish and high-performance all-in-one handheld cash registers in its range. The successors to the Sunmi V2 and V2s hot sellers offer three times the read and write speed, a four times faster CPU, doubled memory, fingerprint unlock packed into a device weighing just 419 grams in an elegant design with a larger HD+ display, dual printing with receipt and label printer and numerous other features.

“The V3 is a real multitasking device for flexible use in the hospitality and retail sectors, in kiosks, in smaller stores, at the weekly market, at events and in bars – wherever a reliable and fast-working mobile cash register with printer is needed,” says Steffen Schwenk, Business Development Manager at Concept International. “And all this with a payment option via SoftPOS and at an affordable price.”

Elegant design with large HD+ touch display

With a brightness of 420 cd/m², the 6.75-inch HD+ touch display promises a large field of view and good readability. The 16.7 millimeter thin device with its silver metallic finish, streamlined lines and rounded corners looks elegant and high-quality. Weighing just 419 grams (including battery) and with an ergonomic grip, the Sunmi V3 is light and easy to hold – and yet it is a powerhouse in terms of performance.

Tripled speed, doubled storage space

Inside the AIO handheld PC is a Qualcom Hexa-Core processor with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM with triple the read and write speed compared to its predecessor, while the doubled storage space can be further expanded using a MicroSD card. The even more powerful Sunmi V3H has even more storage space on board with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM. The operating system is Android 13 and the new removable 3100 mAh battery with its long runtime mode optimizes the battery life to up to 12 hours based on current user habits.

Dual printing for receipts and labels

Another new feature of the Sunmi V3 is the dual printing option: the 50 mm printer prints receipts quickly and reliably. This means that the entire cashless payment process can be carried out directly at the clothes rack in the boutique or at the guest table on the restaurant terrace, for example. It is also a label printer and is useful for marking goods with adhesive labels directly on site or for retail management. Retail management is also supported by the 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash and 1D/2D scan support, with an optional upgrade including a 2D laser scanner. The device can be unlocked quickly and easily using a fingerprint scanner.

Stable and fast WLAN

With stable and fast Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), the AIO handheld PC works reliably and without interference as a mobile cash register, even in the furthest corner of the beer garden, at the weekly market or in the strawberry field. Flexible connectivity is also provided by Bluetooth interfaces (2.1/3.0/4.2/5.0) including Bluetooth low-energy support, SIM card slot, USB Type-C port and Pogo Pin (6 Pin Extended USB OTG) for faster docking of external devices.

Availability and service

The Sunmi V3 is now available from Concept International. The recommended retail price starts at 280 euros net for the Sunmi V3 and 320 euros net for the Sunmi V3H. Dealer price on request. Concept International’s service includes a three-year warranty, optionally extendable to 5 years. On request, the value-added distributor can also roll out projects as part of its Total Preparation Service and offer project-specific configurations.
