The Sunmi T3 Pro Android POS system is a real eye-catcher and is intended to appeal to companies with a sense of sophisticated design and stylish appearance in particular.

Munich, May 22, 2024 – Munich-based value-added distributor Concept International is now sailing with a new flagship in the POS sector. The Red Dot Award-winning Sunmi T3 Pro impresses with its flowing shapes, fine materials and high-quality workmanship. And it impresses with an interior at the highest technical level. The Sunmi T3 Pro is available now.

Sunmi POS systems based on Android are fast, efficient, cloud-based, easy to maintain remotely, intuitive and, with their own app store, ideally equipped for countless industries and special applications. The new T3 Pro also scores points with its high-quality materials and elegant “Liquid Aero” design, which can also be customized. Technically and visually, it represents the top of the food chain in the Sunmi universe and is aimed at businesses that attach great importance to design and style.

Red Dot award-winning look and high-quality feel

The really outstanding thing about the new Sunmi T3 Pro is the impression it makes in a stylish bar, a sophisticated boutique or an exquisite restaurant. With organically integrated decorative and ornamental elements, this POS system can be customized and adapted to the corporate design, for example with carbon, wood, leather or different colors. The T3 is made entirely of aluminum and has an exceptionally high-quality appearance thanks to minimal gaps and high-quality workmanship.

The design from France is based on the flowing shapes that have developed in formations and creatures under water or in the air. Head designer David Protet has refined his Sunmi design language, which has already earned him more than ten Red Dot Design Awards, even further for the T3 Pro: gently curved arches integrate angular technology and clear lines. For example, they form a base that accommodates and conceals all cables and connections. The base is even more rounded on the T3 Pro Max, where the fast (250 mm/sec.) 80 mm receipt printer from Seiko, including autocutter, is also integrated out of sight.

Fold-down display with integrated card reader panel

The frameless 15.6-inch HD display with a daylight-suitable brightness of up to 400 candela including anti-fingerprint coating is a unique design innovation for checkouts: it can be completely folded horizontally towards the customer. The top and bottom are swapped in a flash, just like on a cell phone, so that the image is not upside down.

Thanks to NFC and SoftPOS, cards and cell phones are recognized directly via a scanner field on the screen without the need for an additional card reader. Customer cards for special promotions or VIP programs can also be scanned in this way. The classic version without SoftPOS, i.e. with a separate card reader, is also available on request.

As an alternative to folding down, an additional, optional customer display can be inserted into a barely visible, automatically opening, concealed connection slot in the base of the cash register in a solid and ergonomic way. Even during operation. Like the main monitor, the customer information displays are also available with a screen diagonal of 15.6 or 10.1 inches. What is new here is that the end customer does not have to decide on a single or dual screen solution at the time of purchase: The HD monitor can also be retrofitted for overview, transparency, promotion, customer promotions and payment processes – or set up stably a little further away from the actual checkout using the 1.5 meter cable supplied.

Performance and technology

The technical checklist of the T3 Pro is complete and almost entirely filled with checkmarks: Kyro High Performance Octacore CPU with 2.7 GHz, 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM, the latest operating system OS Sunmi 4.0 based on the latest Android 13 for more security, more performance and smooth operation: Check!

Optional 80 mm high-speed receipt printer from Seiko with automatic cutter, a fingerprint scanner and 8 MP front camera, for example for user authentication: Check!

Also included is the Google Mobile System (GMS) app and API collection, which simplifies logistics, management and maintenance of the Sunmi T3 Pro.

Price and availability of the Sunmi T3 Pro

The Sunmi T3 Pro POS system contains “everything that is good and expensive”, says Steffen Schwenk, Business Development Manager at value-added distributor Concept International. “But it is also a statement, a flagship that rightly bears its name.”

The recommended retail price of 1,600 euros is almost twice as high as the next smallest Sunmi cash register – but only half as high as technically comparable systems from other manufacturers, which, however, do not meet comparable design standards.

Concept offers special conditions for resellers and system houses. On request, customers can receive the proven Total Preparation Service, in which projects are individually configured for specific projects, even for large quantities. A three-year warranty with the option of a five-year warranty rounds off the service package.
