New in the Concept International range: Sunmi V2s Plus with integrated 80 mm printer

Munich, July 3, 2024 – Munich-based value-added distributor Concept International presents the Sunmi V2s Plus, the first Android mobile cash register with an 80 mm wide printer for both receipts and label printing. Whether in restaurants and beer gardens, in temporary pop-up stores, on seasonal asparagus and strawberry fields or in delivery services, where a wider label printer is required for more detailed product descriptions – Sunmi has a solution here too. The robust all-in-one handheld cash register performs reliably and quickly everywhere. The multifunctional Android cash register with solid technology also performs convincingly during stocktaking, in the warehouse or at the concert box office. And with its literally excellent design, it also looks great.

The Sunmi V2s Plus prints receipts, labels, QR or barcodes and offers a remarkable print speed of up to 80 mm/s. The “beep” is also done quickly: 1D or 2D barcodes can be scanned even if the originals are slightly scratched or dirty. Even in dim light thanks to the LED light.

Two cameras and large touch display for faster work

The capacitive multi-touch display has now grown to 6.22 inches compared to the V2 (5.54 inches). This not only makes the robust handheld cash register more user-friendly, but also more stylish: the Sunmi V2s Plus was awarded the Red Dot Design Award.

A 2 MP front camera quickly identifies and authorizes employees using facial recognition, thereby speeding up work processes. Additionally, a 13 megapixel rear camera delivers razor-sharp images, ideal for documenting logistical processes and enabling barcode-based payments. The scan and GMS versions make payment processes even easier with NFC, as the Sunmi V2sPlus is available in three different versions.

One battery lasts for more than one shift

At 535 grams, the V2s Plus is lighter than a half-liter bottle of water, making it largely fatigue-free even during long shifts, especially with the optional wrist strap. The removable 7.7 volt/3500 mAh battery lasts a long time: You can work continuously for around 16 hours on a full charge – or for 14 days in standby mode. And because the battery can be replaced quickly and easily, this high-performance handheld cash register can remain in use around the clock. The stable Android 11 operating system and an eight-core processor from Qualcomm from the Snapdragon family (2 GHz) leave nothing to be desired in terms of performance. Other features include USB-C output, a MicroSD slot, WiFi 2.4G/5G and satellite-based navigation, for example for real-time tracking in fleet management and other mapping scenarios A SIM card slot is also available, making it independent of WiFi.

App store and Total Preparation Service

With the free “Sunmi Cloud” management tool for remote maintenance, individual checkouts and entire checkout pools can be set up, managed and supported in a single operation. The well-equipped Sunmi App Store offers industry-specific applications and usage profiles, for example for retail, the hotel industry, logistics or payment service providers. On request, Concept International can take over the roll-out of projects as part of its Total Preparation Service.

Price and availability of the SUNMI V2s Plus

Value-added distributor Concept International has the Sunmi V2s Plus in its portfolio with a list price starting at 440 euros net (recommended retail price). Concept International’s service includes a 3-year warranty, optionally extendable to 5 years.
