Sunmi’s cloud kitchen printer was developed specifically for the requirements of the catering industry, particularly for kitchens where humidity and temperatures are high and grease and water often splash onto surfaces. Munich-based VAD Concept International now has the receipt printer with auto cutter in its product range.

With a printing speed of 250 millimeters per second on 80-millimeter rolls – or 72-millimeter rolls on request – the Sunmi cloud kitchen printer ensures smooth workflows both online and offline. It can be connected to a PC, but this is not necessary. As a cloud printer, a direct internet connection is possible. This allows it to print orders directly in the kitchen without any detours, for example from delivery services such as Lieferando.

With IP52 protection against water, dust, and moisture, as well as an easy-to-clean surface with a special ABS coating, the kitchen printer is particularly resistant and durable. The striking Sunmi design from France, which has won several Red Dot Awards, makes the thermal printer in black or silver visually appealing, even with the optional wall mounting.

Comprehensive connectivity

The kitchen printer is a long-distance runner with a print head durability of around 150 km. It has a resolution of 576 dpi and offers many connection options. Whether LAN, WLAN, cloud, or Bluetooth, it can be flexibly integrated into any IT infrastructure and enables uncomplicated connection.

User-friendly thanks to intelligent features

The cloud printer can be operated largely without contact, has customizable voice output, and various sensors for paper shortages, paper jams, and temperature monitoring. A network test tool detects connection problems and triggers automatic reprints, for example when changing paper, which prevents order losses.

Price and services

The Sunmi cloud kitchen printer is now available from value-added distributor Concept International. The recommended retail price is $210.00 net. Special conditions apply for system integrators and resellers. The standard two-year warranty can be optionally extended to five years.
