With the Giada DN25, Munich-based value-added distributor Concept International offers a versatile and budget-friendly Raspberry Pi 5 media player for the digital signage sector. With reliable, fanless 24/7 operation, high-performance computing power, and two 4K/60Hz HDMI video outputs, the media player enables sophisticated multimedia experiences on multiple screens, whether in corporate environments, retail, or kiosk systems in public spaces such as trade show booths, transportation hubs, or museums. The Giada DN25 is based on the Raspberry Compute Module CM4 or CM5 and is now available from Concept International.
Giada, a proven manufacturer of cost-effective PCs suitable for 24/7 use in digital signage for over 25 years, is launching the Giada DN25, a versatile, budget-friendly, and high-performance media player based on the Raspberry Pi CM5 Lite module. Thanks to the low power consumption of Raspberry Pi and its fanless design, the Giada DN25 is particularly energy-efficient and low-maintenance. Its ultra-compact metal housing (116 x 106 x 30 mm) makes it an out-of-the-box solution that is also suitable for use in projects with space constraints.
Flexible use for digital signage with two 4K HDMI ports
Whether you want to expand a digital signage network or create multimedia experiences, the Giada DN25 media player with Raspberry Pi module can be used in a variety of ways in corporate communications, retail, event management, and for information exchange in kiosk systems, such as at trade show booths, transportation hubs, or museums.
One of the special advantages of the Giada DN25 is that, thanks to two HDMI 2.0 ports, it can easily control two displays simultaneously – ideal for digital signage projects where content needs to be displayed on two screens in high-quality 4K resolution with a flicker-free 60 Hertz refresh rate.
High-performance, energy-efficient, and durable
Designed for media playback, the Giada DN25 features a high-performance quad-core Cortex-A76 processor with up to 2.4 GHz, 2 GB RAM, and an integrated Broadcom VideoCore 7 GPU with up to 800 MHz clock speed for smooth 4K resolution. It comes with 32 GB of storage, with a 64 GB version available as an option.
In addition, the Raspberry Pi OS is energy-efficient in operation, and the popular Raspberry Pi OS is an open-source solution that gives users access to a large and active community of developers who offer extensive resources, tutorials, and support.
The Giada DN25 offers flexibility in terms of connectivity, not only with two HDMI ports for 4K media playback, but also with four USB ports and an RS232 COM port. A GB LAN port and integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth ensure connectivity. The included jack plug power supply allows the out-of-the-box Raspberry Pi solution to be powered easily and safely. The optionally available VESA mounting kit allows the PC to be installed easily and securely.
Designed for reliable, uninterrupted 24/7 operation, the fanless design ensures quiet, long-lasting operation and reduces maintenance and the risk of mechanical failure due to dust and dirt deposits. In addition, Giada offers long-term availability of at least eight years, which enables planning security.
