Whether on a sunny beach promenade, in front of a shopping center, or in the middle of the city—when maximum brightness, flexible installation, and energy efficiency are required, the new FutureLED Billboard series delivers. With up to 12,000 nits, IP66 protection, and common cathode technology for up to 40 percent energy savings, VAD Concept International has added LED walls to its range for razor-sharp images in any weather and in any desired size.

With brightness values of up to 12,000 nits, a very wide range of pixel pitches, and a contrast ratio of 10,000:1, the FutureLED Billboard delivers brilliant and razor-sharp images – even under extreme lighting conditions. Thanks to optional corner modules that allow angles of up to 90 degrees, eye-catching 3D effects for “naked-eye” applications can also be smoothly realized.

The right pixel pitch for every application
FutureLED billboards offer nine different pixel pitches ranging from 1.95 mm to 10 mm, covering a wide range of applications – from high-resolution information and advertising displays in hotels or shopping malls to large-scale digital boards on steles, scaffolding, or facades that are visible from greater distances.

Robust and energy-saving
The LED modules consist of robust and easily replaceable SMD components. They are designed for temperatures from -40 to +80 °C and are weatherproof in accordance with IP66. Even salty air and sea spray in coastal regions have little effect on them. The billboards’ housings are white, which is unusual. This improves heat dissipation and thus durability – not only for the hotel in the Caribbean.

The integrated common cathode technology ensures significantly less heat and up to 40 percent less energy consumption – while also extending the service life. “To put it simply,” says Mike Finckh, Managing Director of VAD Concept International, “not all RGB diodes at the end of the circuit receive the same amount of energy. With common cathode, we reverse the direction of the current and each color receives only the energy it really needs.” This reduces scattering losses and enables considerable energy savings.

Lightweight, modular, easy to install
With a module weight of only 2 kg and dimensions of 480 x 320 x 16 mm, the Billboard series is easy to handle. A cabinet (960 x 960 x 87 mm), i.e. the ready-to-use basic component for any LED wall, consists of six modules and weighs a comparatively slim 25 kg. It consists of the aluminum frame, the module, and the power supply unit. If weight is not an issue, the more affordable die-cast frame can also be used.

The cabinets are bidirectional in terms of installation and maintenance: they can be installed and replaced from the front, for example on facades. Working from the rear is just as easy if access from the front is obstructed – for example on shop windows.

Prices and service
The FutureLED Billboard series is now available exclusively from Concept International. Prices and rental options are available on request. Special conditions apply for system integrators and resellers. The standard two-year warranty can be extended to five years as an option. Vandalism insurance is also available on request.
