The PCI-DSS-compliant payment terminal with its integrated Android handheld POS system SUNMI P2 Lite has a 5-inch touch display and weighs around 250 gramm. Android 7.1 is used as the operating system, which is fast thanks to a quad-core processor from Qualcomm and 2 GB of RAM. The POS system communicates with the cloud via WLAN or LTE mobile. A laser barcode scanner is integrated for a fast product scan. Contactless card and cell phone payments can be realized via the NFC interface. Alternatively, payment cards can also be scanned via the chip or magnetic strip. To recharge, the user inserts the handheld POS system into a supplied charging station, where the P2 Lite charges. It is protected from drop damage by a robust enclosure: Falls of up to one meter will not harm the P2 Lite.
