The slim signage player GIADA DM6 for high-quality content is equipped with AMD’s powerful embedded CPU, the Ryzen V1605B or V1202B. Featuring 4 cores and 8 threads, the AMD Ryzen V1605B operates at a base frequency of 2.0 GHz (Turbo 3.6 GHz), while the V1202B offers 2 cores and 4 threads running at 2.3 GHz (Turbo 3.6 GHz). Complementing the powerful CPU, the Radeon Vega 8 GPU enables 4x HDMI ports and 4K (max. 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz) as well as Direct3D and OpenGL/OpenCL.
With a dual-channel memory architecture, DDR4-2133 modules support a maximum working memory capacity of 32 GB. Encased in a robust metal housing, the DM6 is specially designed for 24/7 operation. Numerous interfaces and expansion options make the DM6 industrial PC a player for the signage sector, offering high performance at a good price.
Especially for graphically demanding digital advertising in the fashion industry, but also in gastronomy, retail, public authorities among other institutions, the industrial PC with AMD Ryzen CPU is the best choice. A VESA-compatible bracket for wall or monitor mounting as well as customer-oriented solutions (e.g. the “Total Preparation Package” or mounting according to customer requirements) are also optionally available.
An extension of the DM6 is the new DM6-R: The main difference between the booksize player and DM6 is its CPU: it is equipped with the powerful Ryzen Embedded R2314 processor (4 cores at 3.50 GHz). The models do not differ in terms of GPU, connections or even RAM.
JAHC technology from GIADA ensures 24/7 availability for the DM6-R as well – the so-called watchdog included in the DM6-R ensures an automatic system reboot if there is a problem with the software and, with RTC (Real-Time Clock), also allows the PC to be booted and shut down at fixed times of day and night.
