Premiere at GIADA: The Android 12 player D77 is able to drive a classic video wall with four screens and sophisticated content for the first time. With the ARM Mali-G610 MP4 GPU, the player has extremely high-performance graphics thanks to its octa-core architecture, a powerful Rockchip RK3588 processor and an NPU with 6TOPS as an AI booster – a good combination for digital signage or industrial applications. With deep learning, characteristics of even large groups can be recognized in less than a millisecond and the corresponding content can be controlled. For example, the right information for a crowd or quality control in industrial production.
The GIADA D77 also has four HDMI outputs on board, supports hardware EDID and H.265/H.264/AV1/AVS2 etc. video decoder, as well as WiFi 5/6 plus BT, 3G/4G and Gigabit Ethernet. In the handy booksize format, which is also a novelty, it is not quite cheap as an Android device with a net list price of 390 euros, but for connoisseurs of the digital signage market it is a price-performance bargain.
