GIADA’s BQ614 uses the Intel B760/H610 chipset and supports LGA 1700 socket processors of the 12th, 13th or 14th generation in the 65 watt power class. As with its predecessors, the compact housing measures just 1.24 liters. With the latest 7th generation Intel UHD graphics 770 or 730, the Mini-PC supports three displays via HDMI 2.0a (4096×2304@60Hz), DisplayPort 1.4 (7680×4320 @60Hz), or the optional VGA connection (2048 x 1536@60Hz). The USB Type-C port also offers a DP1.4 signal, which easily enables a resolution of up to 8K.
The BQ614 also features numerous I/O ports, including seven USB ports and two LAN ports. It also supports dual-channel DDR5 memory and is flexible for the expansion of NVMe SSD and 1 x SATAIII memory.
A special feature of the BQ614 is the warning message when the computer cover is opened. There is no alarm or other disturbing noise, but the computer records this in the BIOS and warns the user about the process at the next start or reports the process to a network management system. This ensures that the cover has not been removed without authorization. This increases security enormously.
24/7 availability is ensured by GIADA’s JAHC technology – a hardware component that also includes the so-called watchdog. This ensures an automatic reboot of the system if there is a problem with the software and, with RTC (Real-Time Clock), also enables the PC to be started up and shut down at fixed times of day and night.
