The AS Windows also offers, like all other Airserver models, the ability to share content wirelessly and promote collaboration by providing a seamless and user-friendly solution for screen sharing across different environments.
In contrast to the “Connect” and “Connect 2” models, the slim Booksize model is based on the Windows operating system. Once connected to a conference room display or digital whiteboard, the user is presented with a Windows window or full screen for streaming. Devices such as iPhones, iPads, Android devices, Macs or other Windows computers are supported.
Compared to the AirServer Connect variants, it is not possible to set up a guest WLAN under Windows, there is no customizable start screen with instructions and no moderator access. However, other video conferencing, education or whiteboard software such as Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet or Cisco Webex can be installed alongside the AirServer software. This means that during a video conference (with simultaneous use of the existing video and audio system), the screen of a mobile device can be shown on the conference room display and shared with all conference participants from there.
