The AS Connect 3 features the latest technology for wireless screen sharing in conference rooms, classrooms or presentation halls. With this innovation, up to twelve users can now share content simultaneously and turn the presentation into an interactive experience. The stand-alone small hardware box has a rubber-coated magnetic mount, which means it can be attached to the back of a conference room display, for example, without screws. Professional displays usually have a metal housing.
Compared to the previous model, any device such as a smartphone, laptop or tablet can connect to the AS Connect 3 not only via existing transmission paths such as AirPlay, Google Cast and Miracast, but also with the latest AirPlay 2 version. Together with the device’s BYOM (“Bring your own Meeting”) readiness, both internal and external participants can keep their preferred communication platform to join the broadcast. This increases the flexibility of a meeting, as all users can access and control the central digital equipment such as the connected camera, display, microphone and speakers at the same time without much preparation.
The improved connectivity through Wi-Fi 6E RSDB (up to 32 users) in conjunction with the fast 2.5 Gigabit LAN ensures a more powerful network. The USB-C port, which is also new, enables the reduction of connection cables as it combines power supply, display, network, USB/touch and camera connection in one cable.
