AS Connect 2

Screen mirroring at the highest level

The AS Connect 2 is an improved version of the AirServer Connect, which was specially developed for wireless screen transmission. It enables up to eight users simultaneously to wirelessly mirror screen content from various devices such as smartphones, tablets or laptops to larger display devices such as televisions, projectors or interactive whiteboards. There is no need to connect the individual transmission devices to the screen with a cable or download additional apps. The connection is supported either by a QR code or by the smartphone’s own screen transfer functions.

The AS Connect 2 is a stand-alone piece of hardware that is supplied as a separate, small box. It is an external unit that connects to a display device such as a TV, projector or interactive whiteboard. The AS Connect 2 is versatile and offers for various transmission paths such as AirPlay, Google Cast and Miracast. With user-friendly features such as easy connectivity and a stable wireless connection, it creates an optimised experience for screen sharing and collaboration in educational institutions, businesses, conference rooms and other environments where screen sharing is important. The AS Connect 2 supports displays with a resolution of up to 4K / UHD with up to eight simultaneous transmissions and a flicker-free refresh rate of 60 Hz.

Data security is the top priority with the AS Connect 2. The local connection prevents transmission via the internet, which means that internal company data cannot be intercepted. Regular and automatic updates of the fast AirServer operating system also constantly improve the currently required security standards.

The AS Connect 2 also has touchback support, which enables users to control the screen of the main device via the display device. In addition to the parallel reception of all screen sharing systems, the hardware also has its own guest WLAN. Guests can use this not only to connect to the Internet, but also to share their screen content directly (“ad hoc”).
