New engine for the endurance runner among the booksize DS players

Concept International now also presents the Giada D613 with Gen.13 Raptor Lake processors

Munich, June 12, 2024 – Another 20 percent more performance in the i5 version: Value-added distributor Concept International presents the D613 from Giada, the latest generation of booksize PCs for digital signage. Even high-end digital signage customers got their money’s worth with the D612 with 12th generation Intel processors (Alder Lake). Now Concept also has the endurance runner from Giada with the 13th Intel processor generation (Raptor Lake) in its range.

The popular and robust DS player has been given a new engine: With Intel’s 13th generation processors (Raptor Lake), the D613 now offers more performance with the same power consumption. Depending on the version (Core i3 or i5), up to ten cores automatically switch on or off according to the power demand – for rapid performance under high load (Performance) or for energy-saving operation for simple tasks (Eco). The i5 version with 10 cores offers 20 percent more performance compared to the previous generation, for example for optimal video decoding.

Giada’s D613 not only offers Wifi 6E connectivity, but also additional flexibility with a 5G SIM card slot. The booksize players do not necessarily have to be connected to the general company network or in the cloud – they also run on the cell phone network and therefore have an uncomplicated failover solution on board in the event of router failures or internet disruptions.

D613 and D612 both deliver fast performance and support for four 4K displays, which also meets the high demands for a sharp display of fast video cuts. One year after its launch, the D612 remains in the Concept portfolio due to its particularly attractive price-performance ratio: “However, anyone who wants a little more speed and performance will appreciate the D613 for a small price premium,” says Mike Finckh, founder and Managing Director of Concept International, with conviction.

Plug-and-play for Giada’s D613 with the Total Preparation Service

Concept International has the Giada D613 including Windows 11 (64bit) or Linux Ubuntu (64bit) in its portfolio. The i3 version costs 640 euros, the i5 version 750 euros net. Concept offers special conditions for resellers and system houses. On request, customers can receive the proven Total Preparation Service, in which DS projects are individually configured for specific projects, even in large quantities. This means that customers can simply plug and play. The 3-year warranty with the option of 5 years rounds off the service package.
