Munich, February 19, 2024 – Value added distributor Concept International is focusing on the widest possible range of Sunmi Android POS systems at the most important European retail trade fair in 2024, EuroCIS (February 27 to 29 in Düsseldorf): numerous apps for every industry, cloud-supported pool management and the entire range from mobile lightweights to sophisticated heavyweights are designed to meet as many requirements as possible. Visitors can find Concept International at stand E58 in hall 10.
The Sunmi philosophy is based on the following principles:
Flexibility and design: the form factors range from small, ultra-portable handhelds to hybrid kiosk systems and stationary desktop checkouts. The simple checkout with multiple screens is increasingly becoming an extension of digital signage, for example with product information, advertising clips or customer loyalty measures such as loyalty campaigns.
Cloud-based networking: Software updates and new applications can also be installed during operation via the free “Sunmi Cloud” management tool. System integrators and end customers can set up, manage and support individual tills and pools of several Sunmi tills in a single step. Sunmi cash registers thus become systems with remote maintenance. This greatly reduces the administration effort for all desktop, mobile and self-service checkouts.
Comprehensive industry software: In addition to a generous basic software package, the extensive app store of the “Sunmi Cloud” offers various apps and ready-made industry and application profiles for almost every conceivable area of application, for example for retail, the hotel industry or even payment service providers.

V2s Plus: Robust handheld cash register now with 80 mm printer
The mobile cash register with printer and scanner is designed for mobile use and is particularly robust. Just right for stores in the countryside, pop-up stores, restaurants or kiosks. The printer prints both classic receipts and labels and therefore also cuts a fine figure in the warehouse.
The solid Android 11 system with an eight-core 2 GHz processor from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon family guarantees fast operation. The 2 MP front camera can be used for user authentication via facial recognition, which also speeds up work. A 13 megapixel rear camera ensures sharp images, for example for documentation in logistics. Recommended retail price: 440 euros.
Sunmi V3 Mix: tablet, desktop and inventory scanner at a great price
The POS system with high-resolution 10-inch display and integrated receipt printer is light enough for a mobile device and large enough for a fully-fledged desktop POS, including cash drawer connection. Logistics management is also possible with the 2D scanner. “There is no other device on the market that offers so many different applications, from kiosks to boutiques,” says Steffen Schwenk from Concept.
The Sunmi OS, based on Android 13, stands for performance, security, stability and compatibility and runs on a Qualcomm Hexa-Core 2.4/2.0 GHz processor with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM. The memory can be expanded as required via an SD slot. The recommended retail price starts at 420 euros net and is therefore just under 600 euros below the level of comparable systems that are not mobile.
T3 series: performance and luxury galore
The Sunmi T3 checkout system, optionally with an integrated 80 mm printer from Seiko, is the flagship, the Rolls Royce of Sunmi checkouts: It couldn’t be higher quality. The checkout system, optionally with a second 15.6-inch FHD or 10.1-inch HD customer screen, is designed for exclusive and sophisticated requirements. For jewelers, boutiques, design stores or delicatessens who not only want a powerful POS system in their store, but also a design object, complete with an aluminum finish and no plastic. “A statement for users who value design and haptics,” says Steffen Schwenk.
A Kyro-Qualcomm Octa-Core CPU with up to 2.7 GHz, 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM delivers four times more graphics and processing power than the predecessor model. This means that the T3 with Sunmi OS, based on the latest Android 13, does not fall to its knees even with the largest product portfolio and correspondingly powerful databases. Even complex customer presentations running in parallel are “child’s play” with up to 2 TB of additional SD memory, adds Steffen Schwenk. The entire WiFi bandwidth, 8 MP camera, the full Bluetooth spectrum and numerous connections complete the offer with a recommended retail price starting at 1,600 euros.
Android since 2016: revolutionary back then, best-of-breed today
Since entering the market in 2016, Sunmi has relied on its own Sunmi OS, which is based on Android. Android for cash registers – a novelty at the time, now a market-defining fast, flexible and secure operating system. In addition, the maxim for Sunmi checkouts was and is: Inexpensive production, paired with an exceptional design from France with particularly high-quality materials and a solid feel. A success story that has culminated in the company being rated as a Unicorn company with a turnover of over one billion US dollars.
