The SUNMI L2Ks mobile Android terminal is all about optimized ergonomics and lightness: at 14.4 mm, it is thinner and, at 240 g, lighter than comparable predecessors and, with a width of just 64.5 mm, it can be operated with one hand. The design of the numeric keys has also been improved in terms of legibility. The scan button on the front is easy to find, soft but wear-resistant and gives the user tactile feedback. Scan buttons are located on both the left and right side of the front – for different scanning habits. The power button has been framed to protect it from accidental contact.
The SUNMI L2Ks is fully dust and waterproof to IP68, shockproof to 1.8m and has a bright 4-inch LCD display (up to 650 nits) that is also suitable for outdoor use, even in direct sunlight.
The mobile computer offers a wide range of communication options such as 2G/3G/4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 BLE, and NFC/RFID reader. The NFC module is designed for easy tag-and-go price matching, ID and membership card recognition and much more.
The powerful hardware includes an octa-core processor, a fast-charging 5,000 mAh battery and an integrated barcode scanner (optional from Zebra and Honeywell). The scanner works fast at over 10 times/second, reads barcodes up to a distance of one meter, even scratched, dirty, crumpled barcodes or barcodes under plastic film. High-precision barcodes or special barcodes such as DPM barcodes are also no problem.
