The Sunmi Flex 3 is the first of its kind in the product lineup of the global market leader in smart Android point-of-sale systems and self-checkout terminals. With its modular design and innovative features, it’s more versatile than almost any other POS system: for example, as a self-service station in a supermarket, as a self-ordering terminal in a restaurant, as a self-check-in kiosk in a hotel, as an information terminal for in-store and warehouse inventory in fashion boutiques, or as a central hub in kiosks and 24/7 self-service stores—and, in its own KDS variant, also as a kitchen monitor in commercial kitchens. Inside the elegant, high-quality aluminum casings of these 400 cd/m² screens are powerful Qualcomm octa-core processors (up to 2.7 GHz) with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM (expandable to 2 TB with an external microSD card) in the premium version, which also supports AI applications with 13 TOPS, including voice control and smart camera features. The operating system is Android 13 and SunmiOS 3.0. The Sunmi Flex 3 delivers reliable and stable Wi-Fi with 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz in the standard version and tri-band Wi-Fi “6E” (6 GHz, 5 GHz, and 2.4 GHz) in the premium version. Bluetooth 5.0 or 5.2 with BLE technology ensures energy-efficient and stable connections to peripheral devices. The premium version also offers Bluetooth Long Range with a range of up to 200 meters, making it suitable, for example, for counting Bluetooth devices such as smartphones over long distances for visitor analytics.
The Right Features for Every Application
The interactive Full HD touchscreen displays with built-in NFC for contactless payment or authentication are available in three sizes depending on the application: The 18.5-inch models, for example, are recommended as employee feedback terminals (for e-SOP —Electronic Standard Operating Procedures) or as KDS (kitchen display systems) in restaurant kitchens; the medium-sized 22-inch version is particularly well-suited as the basis for self-checkout systems in supermarkets; and the large 27-inch displays have proven themselves, among other things, as self-service terminals for restaurant orders or hotel check-in.
The Sunmi Flex 3 offers a range of features such as Google Mobile Services, NFC and magnetic stripe card readers, fingerprint ID, as well as numerous connection options and interfaces, including two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, four Micro-USB ports, a Type-C debug port, a Type-C power port, two RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports, a POE port, an RS485/RS232 interface, and an audio jack. It can be optionally equipped with a mono, stereo, or 3D camera, thereby supporting modern communication as well as camera-based applications such as visitor registration and AI-powered customer flow analysis.
The screens on all models feature an anti-fingerprint coating, making them durable and very easy to clean. Its highly flexible modular design includes 14 different stand, table base, and mounting options.
Price and Service
Concept International has added the new Sunmi Flex 3 to its product lineup, with prices ranging from 870 euros to 1,140 euros net (list price), depending on the model. Concept International offers special terms for resellers and system integrators. Upon request, customers can receive the proven Total Preparation Service, which allows projects to be individually configured to meet specific project requirements, even for large quantities. A three-year warranty with the option to extend to five years rounds out the service package.
