The FuturePPC I series panel PCs with IP66 and IK07 protection and robust aluminum housing are ideal for manufacturing and process automation. They can be used as endurance runners under Windows 10/11 (Pro/IoT Enterprise) or Ubuntu Linux as an HMI (human-machine interface) or for system control.
The computers can be operated at temperatures from -20 to +70 degrees Celsius without any problems. The front waterproof, capacitive IP66 PCAP touchscreen enables operation even in damp and wet conditions and with nitrile gloves. A resistive, pressure-sensitive display is available as an option, which makes it easier to operate with thick gloves, such as in cold stores.
IK07 protection ensures particularly high impact resistance. Optical bonding can also be used on request to further improve optical and mechanical properties (reducing reflections, improving image sharpness and contrast, stability and durability against shocks, vibrations or scratches).
The Panel PCs are available in 13 different sizes from 10,1 to 31,5 inches, with monitor brightnesses of up to 1500 cd/m². They are available in SVGA & XGA (4:3), widescreen (16:10), full HD (16:9) and 5:4 formats. This variety makes it easy to modernize or quickly replace existing systems, such as control cabinets, without any conversion work. Specific requirements of industrial applications that are programmed for certain monitor sizes can also be easily met.
Intel Celeron (“Elkhart Lake”), Core-i3 or Core-i5 CPUs and 4 to 64 GB DDR4L / DDR5 (12th Intel Gen.) RAM are available for performance. The fanless panel PCs in the FuturePPC I series are designed for low-maintenance 24/7 operation and support Intel CPUs up to the 12th generation. The voltage peak-tolerant supply of 9 to 36 volts is an advantage for control cabinet construction or system manufacturers, as this eliminates the need for an additional power supply unit.
Flexible connectivity is ensured by HDMI, USB and LAN connections, which enable access to the network and parallel control of another network, e.g. a sensor network. In addition, optional COM port and GPIO connections are available for controlling devices.
