Concept International showcased highlights from its own brands, FutureNUC and FutureAIO, at IFA Berlin from September 4 to 8. As a surprise, attendees also got a first look at the prototype of the new 19-inch mini-server, FutureSERV. Mike Finckh, CEO of Concept International, gave a positive assessment of the trade show:

“Under the motto ‘The Future is Now,’ IFA Berlin has impressively demonstrated the direction in which the industry is heading: away from mere technological gimmicks and toward practical, modular, and sustainable solutions for everyday work. The fact that IFA now stands for ‘Innovation for All’—and no longer just for the historic ‘International Radio Exhibition’—accurately reflects our philosophy: For us at Concept International, the trade show was a success—the positive feedback we received from visitors at our booth showed that we’re in tune with the times with the new products from our Future private labels.

FutureSERV: New 19-inch mini-server prototype

With FutureSERV, even smaller companies can implement their own full-fledged on-premises solution. The 19-inch mini-server, which we showcased as a prototype at our booth in Berlin, meets the key requirements for email, team collaboration, and data management through the use of open-source solutions such as Open-Exchange and an open-source NAS system: All data remains on-premises, meaning users retain full control over their data, become independent of global tech corporations, and comply with GDPR requirements without relying on external cloud providers. The FutureSERV fits very well with our company’s DNA of compact hardware solutions: It has all its controls on the front panel and fits into the small 19-inch patch panel racks commonly found in smaller companies or office hallways. We came up with the idea because we wanted to make better use of a small 19-inch cabinet in our own office.

FutureNUC Ultra: AI-ready powerhouses for the (home) office

The powerhouse mini-PCs in our new FutureNUC Ultra series also drew the interest of trade show attendees. With their Intel Core Ultra processors featuring integrated NPUs, these mini-PCs handle AI applications seamlessly and with high performance—from intelligent image and audio optimization during video calls to background security scans. In addition to their performance, the design of the FutureNUC Ultra series is particularly impressive: The sleek aluminum-magnesium chassis and the completely clean front panel with no visible ports set a new visual standard in the mini-PC segment for modern office environments and a stylish home office. As a value-added distributor primarily focused on the B2B market, we were right on target at the consumer trade show in Berlin.

FutureAIO: Sneak Preview of the 27-inch Version with Touchscreen

The same applies to the FutureAIO, the first modular all-in-one monitor with a PC slot-in module. The display offers complete flexibility: The computer can be replaced or upgraded in under five minutes if needed, while the 24-inch screen impresses with ergonomic features such as 90-degree rotation, a retractable 4K webcam, a wireless charging pad in the stand, and the fact that it requires only a single cable. In Berlin, we also had the 27-inch version—complete with a touchscreen—on display at our booth for the first time as a sneak preview.

Conclusion:

Our conclusion after four intense days at the trade show: The future belongs to technologies that make innovations accessible to everyone, flexible to use, and durable. The combination of attractive design, modular flexibility, and integrated AI in FutureNUC perfectly meets the demands of modern work and living environments. We’re taking this momentum with us from Berlin to Munich.”
