As the world’s largest trade show for home and consumer tech, IFA Berlin—under the slogan “The Future is Now”—promises to be a place “where the world’s biggest tech brands meet the latest ideas.” Concept International is using this stage to put the stars of its own brand, FutureNUC, in the spotlight: From September 4–8, we’ll be showcasing the AI-enabled Ultra Series of our mini PCs and, at our booth 102 in Hall 7.2a, we’ll be featuring the FutureAIO—the first modular all-in-one monitor with a slot-in PC.
The FutureNUC Ultra Series features Intel’s new Core Ultra CPU, which is ideally suited for AI applications thanks to its exceptionally fast graphics performance and multitasking capabilities. “To that end, we’ve further optimized the design language of our powerhouse mini-PCs. They now feature a completely hole-free front panel and exude simple, timeless elegance,” explains Mike Finckh, CEO of Concept International, who is obviously referring to the unsightly USB ports when he mentions “holes.” With this, the in-house brand FutureNUC successfully fills the gap left by Intel’s discontinuation of the popular NUC (Next Unit of Computing) mini-PCs, complementing them with high-quality aluminum cases and a very appealing design while maintaining exactly the same dimensions. The FutureNUC Ultra is not only suitable for design-oriented office environments but also serves as a high-performance desktop PC for the home office, making it a perfect fit for a consumer electronics trade show.
The high-quality aluminum-magnesium metal chassis, measuring a compact 112 × 37 × 112 millimeters, houses a powerful interior designed for top performance when multitasking with multiple demanding applications—with three different price and performance tiers available: At the high end are the Intel Core Ultra processors from the 200 series (Arrow Lake) and 300 series (Panther Lake) with integrated Intel Arc graphics, up to 64 GB of DDR5 dual-channel RAM, and flexible expandable storage currently offering up to 8 TB.
The mid-range is currently covered by Intel’s Core Ultra 100 series—the best-selling model being the Ultra 5-125H (45W), which offers solid performance and an NPU (AI chip) that handles tasks such as virus scanning, noise reduction, and image optimization during video calls in the background. Concept describes the FutureNUC Core 3-100U as a “smart step back”—a 6-core processor running at 4.7 GHz that is deliberately equipped with more affordable DDR4 memory and delivers nearly identical benchmark results—albeit without an NPU—but at a sensational price. “With the integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU), the two FutureNUC Ultra PC series are built specifically for the future of AI,” says Mike Finckh, adding with a wink in reference to the IFA motto: “FutureNUC is now.”
Forward-looking product design concept: the FutureAIO
Concept International is showcasing the Future AIO at its IFA booth as a forward-looking new product: this high-resolution Full HD monitor features a PC slot-in module, making it the first modular all-in-one PC on the market. Upgrading or replacing the computer takes just a few simple steps and can be completed in five minutes. The PC module is available with Intel processors from the Core 3 and 5 series or the Core Ultra 5 series and offers numerous flexible and well-designed connectivity options; it runs either Windows 11 or Linux as the operating system.
“Design meets attitude,” says Mike Finckh, explaining why the Future AIO serves as both a stylish and ergonomic alternative to working on a laptop: The 24-inch Full HD monitor (1920×1080) is not only flexibly height-adjustable but also helps keep your chin up and your neck relaxed. It can also be rotated 90 degrees for portrait-oriented viewing and features a built-in 4K webcam and stereo HD microphones—which automatically disconnect when retracted—for relaxed video calls from the home office, for example. The FutureAIO requires just a single cable—the power cord—making it easy to move around, just like with a laptop. The mouse and keyboard connect wirelessly via a dongle or Bluetooth, and one of its unique smart features is a wireless charging tray for your smartphone located at the base of the screen.
The Concept-International team will be showcasing the highlights of its own brand, FutureNUC, at IFA Berlin from September 4 to 8 at Messedamm, Hall 7.2a, Booth 102.
