DT395BT - Rugged Tablet-PC with 9" Display and 2x 1,86GHz Intel® Dual Core CPUThe internals of the DT395BT are using Intel’s energy-efficient Celeron dual core Processor with up to dual 2,2 GHz performance from the especially economical Embedded family. Thanks to its minimal performance consumption, it can be passively cooled without fans and thereby increases the performance of batteries, its life cycle and security against failures. The brilliant 9-inch (22.9 cm) LED display has 1024x600 pixels (WSVGA) and even guarantees good readability in sunlight. A sunlight-display with increased contrast and brightness is available as an option. With the help of the capacitive touch screen, it can be comfortably and quickly operated using fingers or pens. Optional hardware components will additionally extend the area of use and make error-free, efficient work possible. Thus, data can be scanned from barcodes or pictures taken using the 5MP camera on the back. 802.11ac WLAN and Bluetooth modules have been integrated for communication with networks. A webcam on the front is also available for video communications. An optional 3G module for data transmission is available. A USB port has been included for connections with external accessories and the device can be protected against foreign access using the full-slot chip reader. An internal speaker and headset connection is available for using audio data. Additional technical features of the fanless tablet PC include 4 GB of RAM and 32 to 256 GB solid-state drive (SDD). That the robust case has rubber protectors on the corners, made of shock-resistant PC plastic should be pointed out, because it can laugh at falls from heights of 1.5 meters onto concrete. It fulfills the guidelines for water streams and dust protection of the IP65 class as well as the military standard, MIL-STD-810G, for protection against vibration and impact. Furthermore, it has a MIL-STD-810G 511.5 certification against extreme temperatures and pressure waves, such as those cause by explosions, as well as a MIL-STD-416F certificate, which indicates the increased electro-magnetic resistance of electronic devices. The requirements are the prerequisites for its current use by the US military. In this, the dimensions remain handy at 256 mm x 196 mm x 34 mm and its weight astonishing at 1100 grams. Thanks to the efficient ATOM processors, operational times of up to 2 or 3 hours have been achieved with the internal batteries. The additional, hot-swappable battery, which can be changed during running operation, permits worry-free work free of disruptions for an entire day.
