The DT-430SC is an outstanding model in the line of exceptionally stable and impervious handheld computers, the so-called “rugged PDAs” or “handhelds”. Its minimal weight and hand-sized dimensions have been combined hand with the particularly robust and resistant case designed according to IP protection classes 54 and 65 to create a tool that can be really used by field staff and service technicians.
The basic features already include comprehensive communications variations for connecting with the PDA over WLAN, Bluetooth or IrDA infrared. The DT 430SC has a 4.3“ display readable in sunlight with touch sensitive screen for operation using fingers or styli. The keyboard is simply superimposed on the screen. A magnetic stripe card reader is even already integrated. Available options include: 1D and/or 2D barcode scanners as well as RFID reader (also additional). Hot swappable batteries can be exchanged while the device is running and extend the period of usage practically without any limits.
