The Mini PC 116 is a very small and energy efficient Mini-PC. Its housing volume measure only 0.6 liters. Therefore it combines, like all other Mini-PCs, small dimensions and a fan less, quiet operation with high efficiency.
Inside the Mini PC 116 work Intels energy-efficient Atom processor technology with 1.6 GHz (Z530) and enables thus the low power consumption of 8-10 watts. The power savings amortize the acquisition cost over a standard PC in no time. The fan less design and low power consumption also allow the installation of the Mini PC 116 in racks without active ventilation. With the two display ports, DVI and HDMI, and the powerful Intel GMA500 (Poulsbo) graphics chip he´s also recommended for the digital signage field, mainly because he manage MPEG 4/H.264 decoding.
The rugged metal housing and numerous interfaces, such as the fast 1 Gigabit LAN port equip him for the tough industrial environment. He works either with Windows XP Professional in the hard drive version or with XPembedded on Flash ROM. For installations at displays or wall mounts is optional a VESA-compliant mounting bracket available.
